modelling
Our head engineer, Craig Dashfield, is a CIBSE qualified engineer with over 40 years experience in the field, so you can be sure you're in capable hands when you contact the team.
Mechanical and Electrical design services for commercial, residential and heritage buildings.
We are able professional advice on all types of building services projects from inception through to commissioning, handover and beyond.
A particular element of the design process we like to promote is our attention to detail and the sympathetic co-ordination of the services installations with the building fabric.
Energy conservation and environmental considerations are an important part of our design development process and always welcome a positive dialogue with clients and Architects about these elements.
Energy modelling has become an important element in buildings design process which can help assess potential overheating issues on your project.
Using market leading IES simulation software we are able to provide TM52 (Non-domestic) and TM59 (residential) compliant reports to ensure buildings meet required thermal comfort criterion.
Many local councils now require evidence, at the planning stages, that buildings have been designed with climate change and in particular overheating in mind
These reports can be used to gain BREEAM or HQM credits.
SAP, SBEM & epc
We provide SBEM calculations for commercial projects and SAP calculations for residential projects in order ensure compliance with Part L of Building Regulations.
We provide the following services:
-
SAP Calculations for new building dwellings (L1A)
-
Energy calculations for 'Change of Use' and Extension projects (L1B)
-
SBEM calculations for new build commercial schemes (L2A)
-
Energy calculations for non-domestic buildings assessed under L2B
In addition to this, Integrated Design Partnership can provide Energy Performance Certificates (EPC) for both new build dwellings and commercial projects to comply with the necessary Building Regulations.
Breeam & HQM
BREEAM is a sustainability assessment method used to measure a buildings environmental performance in nine different categories: Management, Health and Wellbeing, Energy, Transport, Water, Waste, Material, Land Use and Ecology, and Pollution.
Using standards developed by the BRE, project teams are able to highlight a buildings sustainability credentials through BREEAM certification.
The Home Quality Mark (HQM) helps developers demonstrate to potential buyers that their homes are have high standards for running costs, health and wellbeing benefits and environmental performance.
